FREE NARCAN AND OPIOID OVERDOSE RESPONSE TRAINING

Classes are held monthly in Birmingham or Huntsville

Over the past two decades, accidental opioid overdose deaths among older adults have increased dramatically.

In 2020 alone, 5,209 adults aged 65 and over died from drug overdoses, with synthetic opioids like fentanyl playing a significant role.

Being trained to recognize and respond to an overdose — and equipped with lifesaving tools like Narcan (naloxone) — can significantly improve survival rates and save lives.
