The Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) has partnered with GoRescue Brands, Inc., of Birmingham, AL, to ensure readiness and response capabilities to sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) emergencies at ALDOT facilities across the State of Alabama.  GoRescue was awarded the contract in 2022 to install, manage, and maintain hundreds of life-saving ZOLL automated external defibrillators (AEDs) as well as train hundreds of ALDOT employees in the skills of CPR and AED use.  The motoring public will find a life-saving AED at Alabama’s Rest Areas in the main lobby.
