Bio
Sam’s interest in emergency medicine began when he earned his EMT certification during the summer between his junior and senior years of high school. After discovering a passion for helping others and a love for the field, he continued his education after graduating from Briarwood Christian School in spring 2023.Â
Sam went on to become a nationally registered Advanced EMT and Paramedic. He later earned his Firefighter I and II certifications through Over the Mountain Training Center and the Alabama Fire College, along with additional certifications in Rope Awareness, Operations, and Technician; Apparatus Operator Aerial and Pumper; Officer I; Instructor I; and Hazmat.Â
Sam currently works as a firefighter paramedic with the Vestavia Hills Fire Department and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in finance at Faulkner University.
A fun fact about Sam is that he is a triplet. When Sam is not at the firehouse or GoRescue he can be found hunting, fishing, or hanging out with his friends and family.
