Bio
Stacy graduated from Corner High School in 1986 with an advanced diploma. Shortly after graduation she completed an apprenticeship in cosmetology and opened her own shop. After many years in the cosmetology business, she felt a need for change and decided to begin college to fulfill her lifelong dream of being a paramedic. She attended Bevill State Community College where she obtained her AAS- Paramedic degree. Stacy began her medic career at Regional Paramedical Services while volunteering at her local fire rescue department as a fire/medic. Stacy began her EMS teaching career at Bevill State Community College in Sumiton, AL. After several years at RPS she went on to work in the field at Lifeguard Ambulance Service, A-Med Ambulance Service, and Warrior Fire Department. In 2006 she began employment at Jefferson State Community College where she held many positions including tactical medic. Stacy retired from Jeff State in 2022 as the Emergency Medical Services Program Director.

Stacy resides in Corner, Alabama with her husband Walt where they have been happily married for 35 years. Stacy and Walt live on a small family farm where they have 3 dachshunds, 2 rescue hounds, numerous turkeys, chickens, and cats. Stacy also acts as a board member and volunteer for a local animal rescue which specializes in the rescue and rehabilitation of abused and neglected animals of all breeds and sizes.

In Stacy’s spare time she enjoys spending time on the farm, gardening, fishing, reading, and being outdoors.
