Bio
Brett Anderson M.S., Ed.S, NRP has been a paramedic since 2010. He served as a paramedic, QA officer, and full-time EMS instructor for Grady EMS in Atlanta for 16 years. While working for this high-volume service he also served as the Lead AEMT instructor in one of the best paramedic schools in the country as well as being a founding team member of a unit that responded exclusively to psych emergencies with mental health Professionals.Â
In 2022 he and his wife moved to Tuscaloosa, where they both joined NorthStar EMS as a data analyst and EMS instructor.Â
He has been married since 2025, and his wife is heavily involved in 911 dispatch. His previous career was as a Licensed Professional Counselor for ten years before choosing EMS and its hands on approach.
