Bio
Cody graduated from Hoover High School in 2012 with an Advanced Diploma. He then started his career at Concord Fire Department after graduating from Bessemer Fire’s recruit school. 

Cody obtained his AEMT in 2013 and has continually been in practice for almost ten years. Cody has worked for multiple departments from rural to urban and career to volunteer and held his highest rank of Lieutenant at two of those locations. Cody has taught multiple fire/EMS classes as a training officer for three separate departments and holds over 18 different certifications.

Cody currently works for Birmingham Fire and Rescue and serves as a Fire Fighter/AEMT and Technical Rescue Technician.

Cody and his wife, high school sweethearts, have been married for 11 years and have one young son. They reside in Hueytown, AL. Cody enjoys riding motorcycles and going to the lake with his family in his spare time.
